Yes. Import a CSV or XLSX employee list instead of entering people one by one. Actual performance depends on hierarchy shape and browser resources.
Why does a large org chart sometimes scroll in Fit mode?
GenerateOrgChart protects readability instead of shrinking very large layouts indefinitely. If a chart cannot fit at a useful scale, Fit keeps the chart readable and allows scrolling.
How do I find one employee in a large org chart?
Open Search and enter a name or role. Selecting a result reveals the required hierarchy, centers the node, and highlights it.
Can I collapse a large org chart?
Yes. Use the global overview control or the expand/collapse control on individual parent nodes to reduce visual complexity while keeping the full hierarchy available.
Can I export only one department?
Yes. Select its leader and export the branch, or set that branch as the active root for a focused working view.
What is the best export format for a large org chart?
