Data you provide in the tool
GenerateOrgChart is a client-first tool and does not require account registration. Org chart input is processed in your browser to render previews and exports. We do not intentionally store your org chart content on our backend as part of normal product usage.
Analytics and measurement
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure product usage and page interactions, such as template clicks and generator entry events. These analytics events may include metadata like page path, referrer path, and template/source parameters.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense and Adsterra to support this free service. On supported desktop screens, advertisements may appear beside content pages or after a chart is successfully saved or an export download is initiated. Ad providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and ad interactions, and may use cookies or similar technologies. We do not pass chart text or employee data to the ad configuration. See the Google privacy policy and Adsterra privacy policy for provider details.
Browser storage
We may use browser session storage for lightweight product behavior, such as deduplicating certain analytics events and limiting how often a completion advertisement is shown during a single browser session.
Infrastructure logs
The site runs on Cloudflare Workers and may generate standard infrastructure logs (for example, request and performance logs) according to provider policies.
